Children’s hospital operated out of illegal bldg

The building which houses Shine Hospital is an illegal structure, say the authorities. Worse still, the children’s hospital lacks permission to run the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). While raising the structure, the hospital management did not ensure setbacks for the building, which also lacked fire NOC. “The hospital does not have a valid fire NOC,” confirmed Viswajit Kampati, director of enforcement, vigilance and disaster management of the GHMC.
