Hyderabad: Man chokes pet dog to death, held

A 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with animal cruelty for choking his sister’s pet Pomeranian dog to death, by pressing down on animal’s neck with his foot, in Lalapet on Friday. According to police, Nagaraju intentionally suffocated the dog while his wife Swapna encouraged him to do so. The dog was being taken care of by his sister Rama Devi.
