'How are sex determination labs thriving in Hyd'

Wondering whether the health and enforcement authorities were aware of existence of the law that bans medical professionals from conducting tests to determine sex of the foetus in a mother’s womb, the Telangana high court on Monday issued notices to the state government and health authorities. It asked them to explain as to how and why several illegal sex determination scanning labs were operating and flourishing in Greater Hyderabad area.
