Hyderabad to get woman mayor; quota finalised

The first citizen of Greater Hyderabad will be a woman when elections are conducted to the biggest urban local body, which manages the state capital. Reservation matrix (for SCs, STs, BCs and women) for municipalities and municipal corporations, including Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), in the state were announced on Sunday. The reservation matrix will be in place for two terms.
