    The state cabinet led by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday appealed to the Union government not to discriminate on the basis of religion for according Indian citizenship. The cabinet has decided to pass a resolution against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA) in the Assembly on the lines of Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, West Bengal and Puducherry assemblies
