HC raps Telangana over abnormal price hikes

Stating that tamarind and lentils are two essential ingredients for south Indian households, the Telangana high court on Thursday found fault with the state’s civil supplies department and police authorities for their inability to arrest the abnormal rise in prices of the two commodities during the lockdown.
