CAA: Thousands protest at OU amid tight security

University campuses in Hyderabad turned into fortresses, on Tuesday, as students continued their agitation against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), amid tight police security. Thousands of protesters from multiple varsities — including the English and Foreign Languages University (Elfu), University of Hyderabad (UoH), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (Manuu), Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) — converged on the Osmania University (OU) campus to express their solidarity with the students of Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
